That would make us third cousins I believe. I have been researching the Locklear/Bennett family for over 35 years. I remember going up to visit aunt Jesse with my father, Bill back in the late 60's - 70's. I remember Venita and Sam, but not much more than that as I was only 10 or 12 years old then. Is it possible to obtain a copy of aunt Jesse's obit you mentioned and could you tell me where she is buried? When I checked my email today and I had an alert that you had responded, it was like Christmas came earlier for me. I am just jumping for joy. I look so forward to hearing from you.
