Elias, wife Hannah they had a son named Elias J.1845 he was suppose to have commited sucicide by jumping in the Hatchie River, there are still some Hensley's that have heard this story in Tennessee, but don't remember his name, when it happened where he is burried, or any actual facts. Should be between 1915 and 1918. They had a son James Thomas born Dec 1919. Apparently there was a divorce and he subsequently married an Alta Githens of Lima, OH, before 1923 and had two children, Pauline and Robert C. James Frank died 1974. James Porter Hensley's death cert says his father was Ebert Hensley but I have him as Henry Elbert Hensley and says his mother was Martha Jane Davis. Death Cert says he died in Dallas in MacClarley Nursing Home. He was buried in Cannon Cemetery in Sherman Texas. All this was on his death cert. I'll be glad to see what else I have on him. There seems to be a good deal of conclusions made by some Hensley researchers without any supporting documentation. John did marry Margaret McMahan which is the mother of Goodson McDaniel Hensley, John Baxter Hensley, Jane Amanda Hensley Wislon, and James P. Hensley.
