Hello, I am seeking information on Sarah Ann Hensley b 1833 in TN, m William Wesley Garvin in 1853 probably in Hardin County IL and d 1908. Is Sarah the daughter of Joseph Bonaparte Hensley and Rachel Gallion and born in Roane County TN or is she the step daughter of Joseph and belong to his second wife Lucinda and her first husband. Joseph and Lucinda both brought children to their marriage and had one of their own. I know that Joseph brought Jasper and Lucinda brought William but there was also Newton and Sarah. All the children went by the name of Hensley. The only way I have been able to know who belonged to whom was by birthplace listed in their military records. Due to court house fires I have not been able to find either Sarah's or Joseph's marriages. I have the date of Sarah's from her obituary but not where. I also do not have Lucinda's name before or after her first marriage. I would appreciate any help in clarifying this. Jeanette O'Boyle
