Hi, thanks for replying. Do you have the children of Robert or who he married. Our Bert I'm beginning to think could be Hulbert, Albert, Robert or something like that as I have not found one tiny, tiny bit of evidence on Bert. I know he was born in Arkansas but that's all.....e -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] <[email protected]> To: [email protected] <[email protected]> Date: Tuesday, February 15, 2000 12:49 AM Subject: Re: [HENSLEY-L] Hensley Family of Hardeman County, Tennessee >I have my Robert Hensley back to 1850 & 1860 Census Greene Co., IN. I have my Robert Hensley back to 1850 & 1860 Census Greene Co., IN. They came to White Co, AR. in the late 1870's. They are on the 1880 Census for White Co., Jackson Twp., AR. This family has been the hardest family to research. I think they moved around a lot sharecropping. Supposedly, the family came from TN, but I haven't been able to prove it yet. Can anyone help? To: [email protected] Subject: Hensley Family of Hardeman County, Tennessee From: William Taylor <[email protected]> Date: Sun, 13 Feb 2000 22:52:57 -0800 Nadine, This is a copy of an e-mail I tried to send you earlier today but it was returned. Later tonight I found your query on GenForum. I hope this one goes through. My name is Bill Taylor. I found your e-mail address on the U. S. GenWeb Hot Spring County Archives web page. I am researching the Patrick, Hensley, and McCommon families of Hardeman County, Tennessee. Some members of these families moved to Arkansas in the 1860's and 1870's. The Hensley's are believed to have moved to Malvern, Hot Springs, Arkansas. Since your last name is Hensley I thought you might have some information to swap on these families. I am especially interested in John Crawford Hensley who married Martha Caroline McCommon and Margaret Elizabeth Hensley who married James Milton Patrick. I am looking forward to hearing from you. Bill
