AR. Joseph Henry was the son of William Henry born 1804 VA and Elizabeth Russell b. 1813 TN. They were my ggrandparents. Amanda Shackelford was the daughter of William Darren Shackelford and Elizabeth Lee. Henry and Carrie Ross were children of Joseph Henry's daughter Elizabeth Francis and Edward Beauregard Ross who married November 23, 1892, Coffeyville, Jackson Co. AR. Edward B. Ross died January 28, 1896 and his wife Elizabeth Francis Henry died July 24, 1897. There are no indian connections in this Henry and Russell lineage and I don't believe in the Ross lineage either.
