Do you have reason to believe your John ended up in Boone County, MO? I have a wonderful book, "the History of Boone County" (MO) which mentions a John W. Henry, superintendent of common schools. He apparenty was one of the judges of the Supreme Court. The little blurb I have on him referred to a date of June 30, 1854. Contact me if it looks like something you might want to know more about.
