I am especially interested in the Henry family of Anson County, NC. My ancestor Jesse Henry (c. 1817-a.1870) lived in Anson and was the son of Isham Henry whose estate was settled in Richmond Co., NC in 1844. Jesse Henry married Jane (Jenny/Jena) Courtney, daughter of John Courtney and Nancy Ann Threadgill of Anson County. Does anyone know who the parents of Isham Henry were? It is possible that his family spelled the name Hendry in the previous generation. Any help or leads will be greatly appreciated. Michael Motes
