Unfortunately I have not followed this side of my family very much. I believe your Seth to be the brother of my Narsissa,"Sissy" McGowan. After they were born their mother died and they got a step mother, along with several sibblings. Sissy and her new step mother did not get along and she married at age 16. My Great grandmother Sissy lived until 1959. She lacked about a year and a month being 100 years old. She could not read or write but had an excellent mind. One story she told about her and her brother was that when they were little they went swimming and as they played in the creek, bark from a tree begin to fall in the water. Sissy was sure her brother was somehow playing a prank. Both children got out of the water and after looking up spotted a panther in the tree. Needless to say they ran home fast. She was a wonderful, peculiar old lady. I am sorry I do not know about Seth other than he was her only full sibling. She always thought of him as her only real family. I don't have her family line in front of me but I have it because she told my mother and she wrote it down for her. My mom taught her how to write her first name, at some point and it was the only word she ever knew to write. Oh, I can give you one family line for Seth.
