Does anyone have a Rev. James Henry who was pastor of a Congregational church in Gainesville,N.Y. in 1815 when that town was still in Genesee County? Several James Henrys bought land in Ohio in the 1830's. My great grandmother , Jane Henry, was adopted after her birth in 1830, and perhaps because the family was moving west. Would like to hear from anyone with knowledge of any of the Henry's who moved to Ohio in 1830-1840. Thanks. ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, April 10, 2002 10:01 PM Subject: HENRY-D Digest V02 #38
We have Henrys that moved to Ohio in the 1830's and purchased land in Seneca County. These Henrys, we believe, came from Pennsylvania. That happens to be our brick wall. The two we are certain of are John and Joseph. John is my grgrgrandfather. ----- Original Message ----- From: "J Engan" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, April 11, 2002 10:06 AM Subject: [HENRY] Re: HENRY-D Digest V02 #38 > Does anyone have a Rev.
