I am searching for information about the parents and grandparents of John R Henry (born September 1844, Hempfield Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania and died August 1897, Radebaugh, Westmoreland County). He married Elizabeth Mary Gress (1856-1942) in March 1875. They had six children. John R served in the Civil War - Company I, 11th Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteers; he was promoted from Private to Corporal on December 5, 1864. Any and all leads will be gratefully received.
