Henry (1852-1916), his brothers James O and Levi, from Ironton, Lawrence County, Ohio. Parents were James Henry and Sarah Gorman. My gr-grandmother Alberta (b.29 Oct 1882) was raised by John M. Henry but may have been adopted. Family bible said she was born in Ironton, but an older census record said Tenn. One of my fathers cousins that lived with Alberta when she was young said she was told that she was born in Chatanooga. Since most adoptions in that time were children of other family members or good friends. I think that if she was adopted she may have been a close relative anyway. Any help would be appreciated..
