This is exactly what I have been trying to get for years now. I have three lineages coming out of this line, now I just have to figure where and who they belong to. Anna Mae Tremaine - b about 1875 Mary Vincent ( Ah ne Ona osa ) "Blue Eyes" ??? George Washington Matteson ( served in the civil War ) met Mary ( also called Jane or Mary Jane ) at the St. Joseph's school for destitute indian children in upstate New York. They went into canada then wisc, illinois, iowa and Nebraska. "Rosa Henry" who also is identified as Rosa Quawnis and I have my lineage on Mehitable Eastman daughter of Chief "Hole in the sky" and "stands with Spirit" from canadian/new york border -these people were shifted all over the place, they ended up in Kansas with my Great Grandfather Judson Dewitt Matteson who refused to let the goverment move them off property he owned in Phillips county. They lived on his property along with remnants of a small band of Osage indians until the 1930's. The problem I have is that ALL of my grandparents have Native American Ancestry - and that's from all sides dating back to the 1600's when the first white members arrive in Canada, Nova Scotia and America. So in an effort to make a long story shorter, if you have any of the following surnames in your lineage please let me know - I've been trying to do this for years and it is so frustrating, So I really appreciate your response!
