Jay, I forgot to add: There are quite a few REEDs in my other file that contains the other side of the family. Just search on Rootsweb, http://wc.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi for my other grandmother Phadima HOPKINS. Most of these REEDs come Lancaster County, although in the very early days, the county stretched all the way over to the Oley Valley, where I first find my GERBERs. The rumor was that these two grew up in the Chester Co., PA area and they married CARSON sisters. I have worked from Dora's Manuscript, my Grandmother Zada (Henry) McCollum's "birthday book" and what's online. The file name is "henrymac" and Titled "Henry-McCollum Expanded" Just go to Rootsweb http://wc.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi and search for Zada Henry JanAlpert@aol.com wrote: I am doing research for my brother in law who descends from Martin Henry who was in York Co., PA in the early 1800's. I also have Reeds in Lancaster Co. and Chester Co.
