This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Henry, Henarie, Drake Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/JRi.2ACEB/3281 Message Board Post: I was told by one resercher that a researcher named Mr. Rankin of New Jersey identified the wife of David Drake as Mary Henry. David Drake is buried next to William and Elizabeth Henarie in Musconetcong Valley Cemetery in Hunterdon Co., NJ. These are the cemetery inscriptions: Henarie, Elizabeth (94-1) June 8th, 1859 88 yrs, 4 mos & 9 dys Wife of Wm. Henarie. Henarie, William (94-2) January 24th, 1769 Nov. 23rd, 1848 79 yrs, 9 mos & 29 dys Husband of Elizabeth. In memory of How still and peaceful is the grave, Where life's (Illeg) past, The appointed house by heaven's door, Receives us all at last. Henry, John (134-1) March 1, 1855 65 yrs & 10 mos (I'm not sure who John Henry is, he was just in the cemetery list, too, and seemingly not buried too close by as indicated by 134-1.) http://newsarch.rootsweb.com/th/read/NJHUNTER/2004-10/1098060851 David Drake's estate was inventoried by a William Henry in 1826. David's wife, Mary (Henry?) Drake was b. abt. 1797 and was ennumerated in the 1880 census in Bethlehem, Hunterdon, NJ. I believe that the 1820? Hunterdon, NJ census places William Henry next to some Drakes. Does anyone know anything about this William or John Henry/Henarie? Thanks, Susan
