Among them were two photographs with a man identified as Charles Earl Henry. One picture is a group of men in military garb and the writing on the front says "Charles Earl Henry 1918 France" and the other photograph was a much larger, panoramic type of photograph with many more young men in military attire. I don't remember the exact wording but ink writing on the front identified this same young man but the location was written as Fort Stevens, Ore. I asked the gentleman selling the photographs to try and find this soldier's family - I'm not sure but, I hope he will try and return the photographs . I just wanted to post here in case someone reads this - I would be willing to return and try to find the man to obtain the photographs for you to return to your (Mr. Henry's) family. Please contact me if this is your relative. PLEASE use the following e-mail, not the one attatched to this message as it belongs to my husband and will not be read. jellybean454545@yahoo.com ~Heather
If you could get the man to donate the picures, I would be glad to keep them until the owner is found and then pass them along. I could post them on Webshots online where people could get prints.
