Looking for ANYONE WHO KNOWS the family of James William Henry and his wife Ida Bell Tanner Henry. James was born 3/22/1856 in Missouri and died 1930 in Center, Oklahoma; buried Center Cemetery. Ida Bell was born 6/25/1862 in Kentucky and died 12/22/1941 in Center; buried Center Cem. I do not know James's parents but he had a nephew or brother Clarence & Granville (one was either a nephew or brother and the other the latter's son). James and Ida married 7/30/1880 in Randolph County, Arkansas. She was the dau. of Benjamin Tanner & Angeline Dunsmore Tanner. They had 12 children, 1 unknown probably infant/young child. James & Ida moved to Center, Oklahoma by train in January, 1901. The other children were as followed: (RC/LC = Randolph or Lawrence County, ARk.) 1. Benjamin Henry (no info but name) 2. Lonie Henry, born 11/11/1884 RC/LC, married David Valentine (Dave) Dame 1908 Center, OK; died 1957 Ada, OK. Children: 5, 1 living. 3. Charles Elbert Henry, born 4/29/1886 RC/LC, married Nancy Caroline (Fannie) Dame 1908 Center; died 1928 Center. Children: 5, 1 living. 4. James Silas Henry, born 1888 RC/LC, married 1st Alta Ellen Bandy 1906 Oakman, OK; married 2nd Mina Jeter 1920 Center; died about 1935 Center. Children: 1stm: 2, 0 living; 2ndm: 2, unknown if any living. 5. Roxie A. Henry, born 1/22/1891 RC/LC, married 1st Louis A. Prewitt 1907 Center; married 2nd John E. Cheshier about 1925; died 1967 Lindsay, OK. Children: 1stm: 3, 0 living; 2ndm: 1, not living. 6. Mose Johnson Henry (my great-grandfather), born 12/5/1892 RC/LC, married Rhoda Bellzora Dame 12/3/1911 Center; died 4/20/1970 Hayward, Calif. Children: 11, 6 living. 7. Fanny Elizabeth Henry, born 1894 RC/LC, married Henry Jefferson Loman 1912 Center; died 1973 Pauls Valley, OK. Children: 5, 0 living. 8. Mary Ellen Henry, born 1/18/1897 RC/LC, married Hugh Frank Townsley 1917 Center; died 1978 Oklahoma City. Children: 6, 1 living. 9. Robert Edward Henry, born 1899 RC/LC, married Effie Olevia Denham 1919 Center; died 1957 Ada, OK or Amarillo, TX. Children: 6, 3 living. (1 recently died) 10. Mattie C. Henry, born 12/2/1901 RC; died 1/15/1904 Center. 11. Bertha Bell Henry, born 3/15/1904 Center, married Charles Edward Dollahon about 1923 Center; died 10/30/1959. Children: 4, 0 living. Which county in Ok? I am looking for info on the family of Andrew B Henry from Ar. Think he is the GF of my GM. My GM was born in Benton Co,Ar in 1882.
