I need to share with descendants of this line. Loftus / Loftis P. Henry born 1795 Rockingham Co. VA (probably should be Bath Co.) VA, died after 1870 Jackson Co. AL. He was son of Hugh Henry and Martha "Patsy" Pullin who were married in Bath Co. VA in 1794. I am positive that his middle name was "Pullin", named for his grandfather, Loftis Pullin. Loftis P. Henry was grandson of Henry Henry who turned tithable in 1850 in the part of Augusta Co. VA that became Rockingham Co. VA and wife Mary, last name not yet known. married Susan (Susanna) Jones dau. of John Jones and Anna (Layman) Jones of Sevier Co. TN. Se was born about 1797 in TN, probably in what is now Sevier Co. children: 1. Martha P. Henry born 1823 Jefferson Co. TN married 11 Mar 1846, Jefferson Co. TN to James Clendennon (Clendenden, various spellings) 2. Hugh A. (no prove, but believe middle name was Anderson) Henry born 1827 Jefferson Co. TN, married 1859 to Nancy Elizabeth Jane Newman. Believe to McMinn and Bradley Co. TN. 3. John J. (middle names Jones) Henry born March 1833 in Jefferson Co. TN, married 1859 to Magaret Elizabeth, last name not known. 4. David Jones Henry born 1835 Jefferson Co. TN, married 22 Apr 1877 om Scottsboro, Jackson Co. AL to Nancy Anise Wilson. He died 9 March 1891 in Scottsboro, Jackson Co., AL. 5. Delilah J. (middle name Jones) Henry born 1839 in Jefferson Co. TN., married 20 Jan 1917 to Henry Jordan Landman (I think that this was her first marriage, that she lived with her parents until they had both died), married in Jackson Co. AL 6. Hette Rebecca Malvina Henry born 1841 in Jefferson Co. TN; married Joseph Calvin Kilgore, 3 May 1874, Jackson Co. AL; died 5 Sept 1916 (in TX?)
