John Henry was administrator of William Henry's estate 1815 Botetourt Co. VA. In these documents is also noted the names of Jacob Statler,William Poage and John Poage. I've now read that David Sloan married Catherine Statler 23 Nov 1812 in VA. That their daughter Ellen married George Poage in Roanoke County, VA. Are you related to this Sloan line? John Henry writes of paying "the widow" from the Henry Personal Account. The widow was named Rachel and the Guardian of the children William, Samuel, John and Peggy was Lewis Harvey. Charles S. Kirkwood vs Heir(s) of Lewis Harvey. Surnames involved: Burwell, Craft, Harvey, Holland, Johnston, Kirkwood, McDonald, Persinger, Richards, SLOAN, Wood. Had to do with Lewis Burwell's will 1803 of Henrico. Notice that Sloan name. Maybe that's the tie for Lewis Harvey and William Henry's children. Carolyn Anderson
