    1. [HENRY] Isaac HENRY & Cecelia CEASAR married Sept. 26 1853 in Savannah GA
    2. Here is documentation on the wedding of Cecelia Cessar/Ceasar as the bride of Isaac Henry. One of us had it and didn't remember. I suspect the erroneous listing of Cecelia's surname as "Lesser" in the IGI was transcribed by someone who had trouble reading the old handwriting. This is from the Savannah Newspaper Digest Jan 1 - Dec 31st, 1853. The print is very bad, but this is what it says: DMN Sept 26, 1853 : Married on Thursday night last, in this City, by the Rev Mr Crumley, Mr Isaac HENRY to Miss Celia CESSAR, both of this City. >From my family bible, I know that Cecelia was Cecelia Louisa Ceaser, daughter of Hosea and Mary (Lyon) Ceaser. Her birthday was November 9, 1834. She was my grgrgrandmother's younger sister. Susan

    2. I am especially interested in the Henry family of Anson County, NC. My ancestor Jesse Henry (c. 1817-a.1870) lived in Anson and was the son of Isham Henry whose estate was settled in Richmond Co., NC in 1844. Jesse Henry married Jane (Jenny/Jena) Courtney, daughter of John Courtney and Nancy Ann Threadgill of Anson County. Does anyone know who the parents of Isham Henry were? It is possible that his family spelled the name Hendry in the previous generation. Any help or leads will be greatly appreciated. Michael Motes
