My great-grandfather was born on what was supposed to be the family's old plantation though it and the family fell on very hard times after the Civil War. He was Thomas Furman Henry who married Jesse Ann Cope. They had 14 children of whom 11 survived to be adults. I have good information on their children, but nothing about his parents. I have posted what I have of the family tree on Ancestry.com and would love information or will give out info that I have. Thanks. Lindy Hensley

I have traced back Cyrus Henry(born 1852 and died 4/1908) on my Grandfathers side and Jocob Henry (born 12/18/1854 and died 1925) Grandmothers side. Cyrus married Hannah Baughman (born 4/3/1854) and Jachob married Ellen Rebecca Baum (born 1861). I recieved some information yesterday from a very nice lady that may indicate that Cyrus and Jacob were brothers and their parents were John and Lavina Henry (other children Sarah and Daniel). She was looking for a John R. Henry. This accured in the area of the Hempfield Township and Westmorland, Pa. and they were affilated with the Old Zion Lutheran Church (Harrold's). I would be happy to share information if you think it is of value. Contact me at [email protected]

Surnames: Henry, Baum, Miller, Anthony and Stough Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/JRi.2ACEB/2435 Message Board Post: On my Grandfathers side I am looking for ancestors of both Cyrus Henry (born 1852, died 4/1908) and his wife Hannah Baughman (born 4/3/1854, died 1/3/1931. They had 3 children John Harvey, Susan C., Amos F. that live to adulthood and three that died young or at birth Cora, Marian and Edna. They were affiliated with Harrold's Lutheran Church. John Harvey Henry (born 9/17/1883, died 3/22/1962) married May Myrtal Baum (born 5/30/1887, died 7/15/1968). They had 9 children including my Grandfather Luther Miller Henry. May's father was Lewis E. Baum (born 1852 and died 1915) and mother was Catherine Miller (born 1862, died 1933). May's Grandfather was Jacob Baum and Grandmother Susane as well as John Miller and Lea. I am lacking information here. On my Grandmothers side I am looking for ancestors of Jachob Henry (born 12/18/1854, died 1925) and his wife Ellen Rebecca Baum (born 1861, died 1932). The interesting thing is Lewis E. Baum is Ellen's brother. They had 10 children including Joseph Franklin Henry (born 12/17/1885, died 1/28/1960) my grandmother's Dad. His wife was Anna Almirah Anthony (born 12/3/1886, died 10/14/1958) Anna's parent's were John Anthony and wife Katherine Stough (need iformation on this side also). So as you can see I am curious to see where the Henry line leads. This couriousity also extends to the Baum, Miller, Anthony and Stough families. At this point I have no indication that Jachob Henry and Cyrus Henry are related, but who knows? Maybe one of you do. Thanks for any help!!!!

My father always thought the family was moving West and couldn't take a baby. Do you have any earlier data on James D. Henry or Lucinda Hill? I live in PA. Jessie Engan
