I also show his father as being Dr. Patrick Henry and show that he married in DeWitt County, Texas to Eliza R Lynch on 1 June 1871. Which would make this a second marriage. I find no children born to this union. This is not confirmed but I believe it to be correct as a grandson told me that his great grandfather Henry was named Patrick and was a doctor born in Alabama and that he lived in DeWitt county, Texas for a while. Any and all help is appreciate. Elsie

Martin is buried in Shauck cemetery in Ohio, Mt. Gilead as is Juliann. They had 12 children. We are from the 5th Emanuel. We have contacts from the 1st child Jacob. Also from the 12th child Jerimiah and Andrew Henry. How are you related to Martin Henry?

    1. [HENRY] WILLIAM HENRY, PA > Richland Co., OH
    2. My Henry line also moved from PA (Chambersburg, Franklin Co.) to Richland Co., OH, and I'm wondering if there's a connection here with Geo and Dawn Wheat and with [email protected] My brick wall ancestor ADAM HENRY (1845-1927) was born in Chambersburg, Franklin Co., PA. The courthouse there was burned down by Confederate soldiers during the Civil War, so we don't know who his father is. Recently, though, I came across the following entry and wondered if this man could have been Adam's father: HENRY, WILLIAM State: PA Year: 1830 County: Franklin Record Type: Federal Population Schedule Township: Chambersburg Page: 259 Database: PA 1830 Federal Census Index A CHARLES HENRY was shown in the same town for the year 1820, and I suspect he was also related to my Adam in some way. Can anyone shed any light on this? Sue Jones [email protected]

I just sent that to the Henry list recently. There is a William Henry born @ 1845 Pennsylvania listed. His father was George Henry b. @ 1816 Pennsylvania. I am wondering if George was the brother to my GGGrandfather, Abraham Henry. The families were together and they both came from Pennsylvania. My Henry family has ties to Nebraska also. 3. I know a lot more than I did in the past. This is how my Henry family looks now!!!!!!!! A kind person I don't know saw my posting about trying to find this family and he sent me some information to jump start my search. This kind person is not related to this family but just tries to help people. It is amazing!!!! ABRAHAM HENRY was born @1822 in Pennslylvania. His wife was named Rachel and she was also born @1822 in Pennslyvania. They moved to Illinois where my gggrandfather, DEWITT CLINTON HENRY, was born on 8 April, 1850. The family moved to Jackson co., Iowa @ 1855. DEWITT CLINTON HENRY married MARY JANE FURMAN and they moved to Clarksville, Merrick Co, Nebraska, and had a son, JUDSON DAY HENRY, on 26 August 1879. JUDSON DAY HENRY married EDITH DILTS in 1899, Anita, Cass County, Iowa. They had 3 children: Bessie, Phyllis and Lyell (my father). They divorced in 1914 and JUDSON DAY HENRY married FRANCES GOODWIN (GOODWYN). They had some children but I only know of one by name. It would be just as fun to find descendants as it is to find ancestors. Is anyone connected to this family? Dawn Henry Wheat

    3. Patrick Henry the Statesman did not have a sister Maria, he did have a sister named Mary. His father John Henry was born 1713. Patti Hi, I don't think so. My Maria Henry was born in the U.S. about that time I think. She was the sister to Patrick Henry, so I have been told and the John Henry (the father) had to have been born sooner than that but when I dont know. John Henry was an Anglican and married a Sarah Winston in Hanover County, Virginia. He, himself was from Aberdeen, Scotland, born about 1733. Sorry. jmv
