Cousins, had a half brother named William Henry. William wrote an affidavit on behalf of John's brother, James, that appears in James' Civil War pension records. In it, he describes himself as James Cousins' half brother. The affidavit is dated 1896. William lists his age as 71 in the affidavit. John A. Cousins' mother was Jane Cousins. I do not know what her maiden name was. I suspect Jane was married to a man named Henry prior to being married to John and James Cousins father, Isaac. Do you have a William Henry from Armstrong County who fits the time period? Bob Cousins

Does someone in the family have these? I am a Fennel descendant and want to get beyond "names and dates" genealogy. I'm trying to learn all the stories I can. If you have anything that can help, please email me. I have some letters that Ab Davis wrote to my Fennel ancestors that you might be interested in as well.

Hi List! Is anyone researching or connected to these Henry men listed below? I'm trying to determine if one of them is the Father to my 3rd G-Grandmother Susannah who married Daniel Flot (Flott/Flood) around 1831-1833. Susannah (aka Susan) was born August 22, 1812. Daniel was a tailor in Green Village, Frankln County, PA from 1831-1850 then is listed as a farmer. Daniel and Susannah Flott family moved to Mifflin then to Huntingdon County, PA (by 1870). Daniel and Susannah show up in 1840 in Franklin County as Flood, same place in 1850 (Flutt) and 1860 (Fleet), and finally in Huntingdon County in 1870 as Floot. Any help is greatly appreciated!
