Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/yNi.2ACEB/3978.2.1.2 Message Board Post: Bev, I have seen a partial book (without author) in both SLC at the LDC library and in the library on the Eastern Shore that states the Hendersons of Augusta County were descended from Zerobella Henderson (of the Eastern Shore of Virginia). The book offers no proof. I have also seen where these same Augusta County Hendersons were descended from the early Hendersons of Tidewater VA. Again, no proof. It makes more sense that the Hendersons of Augusta County came from PA as that was the general migration route. (As an aside, "my" Hendersons of Onslow Co NC supposedly were descended from James Henderson, also of the Eastern Shore (Accomac VA/Somerset MD), but from bible, church, land , and wills, I have found that not to be the case. Bottom line, unless and until you find proof by way of deeds, wills, or bibles, be leery of any relationships) Robin
