I do know there is more than one Andrew Russell. There were 3 Andrew Russells that lived in Augusta Co. VA at the same time. One Andrew Russell c. 1710-1780 married Florence Henderson. The 2nd Russell family was Bryce Russell c 1728-c1810 who married Rachel and had a son Andrew c1764 who married Agnes Martin. The 3rd Andrew Russell family (mine) was called Andrew of Long Meadow b. ca. 1735. He had a son- Matthew Russell born c 1759-1831 who md. Jane Henderson c1788 in Rockbridge Co. VA.. Jane was born 1765. It has been shown that her parents were John & Isabella (Houston) Henderson from PA, and of Augusta Co., VA (info from Morton, Rockbridge County History) Does anyone else have these same parents as John & Isabella (Houston) Henderson?
