Hi,? I am also looking for a John Henderson and a William G. Henderson--William G. Henderson was with a Richard Lewis Henderson of Bowling Green--Green Co. or Warren Co. Ky.? Also maybe with a Frank Lewis Henderson who put in Fawcett or Faucett--with a Mary Susan Mosier in Hood River Oregon and in Tillamook Oregon.? I hope I put this up right.? I just found a an Allen Henderson lived in Blount Co. Tn. south of Claiborne Co. Tn. plus these three were born in Tn.? This is under Allen Henderson of Iowa.? I think they are with the Alexander Henderson's of Mo.? The third child John, died in Clark Co. Mo. where a William G. Henderson's grandson[son of John S. Henderson]Walter Henderon,died in 1954, Clark County is next to Scotland Co where Hilery lived.? Next to that is Adair Co. where William G. Henderson and the rest of the family lived?? This is next ot Alexander HEnderson b.??? d. Appanoose Co. Ia.? m. Sarah Dunlap both bur. Mt. Arat Cem. 3 mil E. of Enterville.? 1. child was ! a William H. Henderson b. Sept 30 1848 d. 1924 the 11th child of Alexander and twin of James m. Elizabeth Lowry and had 6 children?? I have found in Berks Co. Pa. Rugh, Ragsdale, Knox, Roth of Delphi Indiana Carroll Co. where I came from.? I believe they are with my Troxells or in the Troxell family.? They are related to Mary Troxell Walters of Az.? She is the one who helped me with my family--she passed away not too long ago.? I have a lady who m. Hollingsworth and Ragsdale and lived here in Tn. in Tazewell Tn.? Her name is Bunch.? There is a Ann B. Phillips who is putting the names in in Pa. Berks Co.? There is also a Lowry in Tx. with Ragsdale and Phillips.? It says the names of the children above is related to Thomas Henderson of Claiborne Co. Tn.? plus the first three were born in Tn.? one is John Henderson b. 1913 d. Oct. 1959 in Clark Co. Mo. m. Martha Hash Feb. 2, 1837 in Tn.? they are with a Blissfield with Allen Henderson.? This is with Alexander Henderson of Augu! sta Co Va. had 16 children.? below is a David Henderson m. Ellen Ander son had 9 children--Alexander Henderson m. 1. Margaret Hart had 10 children and 2. Elizabeth Morrison with 10 children.? RE: JOHN HENDERSON My gggg grandfather was a John Henderson. He was born about 1769 in Virginia, and he died in 1833 in Allen County, KY in an area where the counties of Allen, Barren and Warren meet. His son(s) crossed over the river from Allen County and lived in the Finney and Rocky Hill communities of Barren County. All of this area of Kentucky was Green County when KY first separated from Virginia. Finney and Rocky Hill are about 20 miles (as the crow flies) from Bowling Green, KY. About every family had a William somewhere or other. I don't have anything about a Richard Lewis Henderson; however, there were many Lewis families in or near the Finney community. Lewis is another line of my ancestry. Would my John Henderson fit into the time frame you are looking for? If so, I am willing to share any information that I may have. I also have a John Henderson died 1833 Allen County KY. I have not done much work on him but have information on his son Lorenzo Dow Henderson. He also had sons Jeffeson, Nathaniel and daughter Turena. I have information that he married Sarah Fortune. Any of this fit with your information?
