I have several Hiram's in my family. Are yours from Lawrence Co., Ind? If so, and if you are part of my family -- this is the rumor: My husband's grandfather, Thornton was married 3 times. The last wife died after him, but when he died she got rid of most of his stuff. When she died, her daughter took the rest. It is rumored that there was a Henderson family bible, although she is not a Henderson, and there is noone in the family that knows her name or where she lives.
