After a day at the General Register Office in Edinburgh, I have found that some of my family "disappear" after the 1871 census. Has anyone got Alexander HENDERSON and his wife Helen Sinclair in their tree please? They married in 1868 at Edinburgh when Alexander was 37 (b.about 1831) and Helen was 40. Because of their ages, they may not have had any children. I suspect they left Scotland and settled overseas - but where? I would be so grateful to hear if anyone recognises these names.
