Posted to Lexington County board from Ray Henderson - just passing it along for all of the Henderson's interest. Begin: I'm new to the list & thought I'd just jump right  in and ask a question. Am I the only person in the world who is working on the name HENDERSON in Fayette Co?? I have a James Alexander Henderson who was born near Lexington in 1786.  I suspect that his father might be William Henderson (from VA)  but since there seemed to be a Henderson under every rock & behind every tree in early Fayette Co I'm  not sure.   I know James had a brother named Archibald. Allied   ( Fayette Co    ca 1800-1830 )  names of this pesky James Alex Henderson family were CASSELL, TILTON & WHITE.   I'd love to hear from someone who was also working on this family.
