ARCHIBALD HENDERSON born about 1740 Killean & Kilchenzie Parish, Argyll, Scotland, died perhaps 1806 Richmond County, NC, married Mary Smith ? Children: John born about 1767; Ann borna about 1768; Randall born about 1772; Archibald born about 1773; Donald born about 1775; Alexander born May 1776; Robert born about 1778; Catherine born about 1780; James born about 1784; and, Duncan born about 1789. It appears that, in Scotland, family members were listed variously as MCKENDRICK and HENRY; once in the American Colonies, were listed as MCKENDRICK and HENDERSON. There were several Archibald Hendersons in early North Carolina. Information about all of them is solicited. Any information will be appreciated. Will gladly share information.
