    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Author: maryliz155 Surnames: Henderson, Noble, Springer Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.henderson/5334.1.2.1.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Doug, Sorry about the vagueness of my post. I know how to post better queries now. Alexander supposedly (no trace can be found)had a son, Barton, supposedly born in 1740, birthplace unknown. Cant find the wife. He had a son, William H., born 1760 in New Jersey married to a Margaret Delaney (again no trace). They had a son, James, b. 1795 in NJ that is my 2nd great grandfather married to a Mary Springer (having a hard time verifying her middle name, could be Noble). Also sons Peter Delaney, Elias, and John C. Since a great many people have merged their Henderson lines, this line is muddled severely so I am not proceeding unless I have direct proof. If I can get an obituary for James, that might have his father listed but I cant even find that. This is a long answer to a short question.
