US Census records show that JW was born in Canada in 1820, his father was born in England and his mother in NY. Family legend states that his father's name may also have been John or John William, or possibly even Johnston Henderson, and no clues to his mother's name. I believe he had brothers, whose names I do not know. I have no idea about sisters. John William Henderson was a widower at the time of his marriage to Eliza Uptogrove Bratt. No idea who his first wife may have been. Again, sorry I don't have more information for you, but I would love to talk to you more about this. I've had another researcher ask me the same question and I would love to hear more about your William and Mary Henderson. Look forward to hearing from you. K
