Is your Henderson family descended from the Fayette Co IL bunch? I am descended from George Henderson's daughter Alice Jane Henderson Merriman. I think there may possibly a connection. One of George's sisters or maybe 2 sisters came to Stoddard Co MO near the town of Advance, MO. Most of the info I have on the HENDERSON family from Fayette Co ILL bunch I received from Lane TRUEBLOOD, also a descendant of George HENDERSON of Fayette Co IL. I have also contacted a John SMITH who is a descendant of a Hiram HENDERSON, who is George's brother, I think. Does anything sound interesting?
