Did any of your Hendersons stop off in Ireland? I have John Stuart Henderson of Raphoe, Donegal whose family originated in Scotland, perhaps Edinburgh area. My Henderson line working back is John, Brice, Samuel. We were always told that we were half Irish and half Scottish and we know the other side of the family originated in Ireland. I have been looking for information about Samuel but have been unable to locate him anywhere except an 1810 Indiana County census. I do think he came from Scotland sometime between 1790 and 1810 though.
