Born 1819 in Scotland. He married Jane Ryrie born in 1828 in Scotland. It's believed Peter came to Canada from the lowlands of Scotland as a young man. He married on Sept. 18, 1846 in Tyandiagua Township. This is in Belleville area. Ontario, Canada. Settled on farm near Exeter, Ont. Canada and raised a family of five boys and six girls. Early census records show them as being United Presbyterians. Do you think this Peter could be a brother to Henry Henderson? I have no information on who Peter's parents were.
