I just wanted to make sure...because in searching in N Ireland knowing where they lived or were born is very important...that people aren't taking the info from Immigration lists. On that info it might state a person or family left from Londonderry but that doesn't mean they lived there. Those places were very big ports of departure back then. Families traveled across counties to get to ships at those ports to go to America , Scotland and Australia. For example..My Hendersons lived in Co Fermanagh. Some of their relatives who immigrated would have traveled to Londonderry to board ships to America. I just thought it was important to "state" this.
