Hi,? Bob Henderson lived in Laurens Co. SC.? I will look in his book and see if I can find anything about your Samuel Henderson.? The one Samuel Henderson who m. Elizabeth Williams was b. 1697/1700, he had son Samuel Henderson who m. Elizabeth Calloway---I have their childrens names but will have to find them.? It said that Samuel Henderson who m. Lucy Rykeman[she may have lived in Albany NY] may have been a grandson of Samuel b. 1700.? They were in Hawkins Co. Tn. in Greene Co. Tn. and here in Knoxville, TN. Knox Co.? There are books that she Lucy wrote[Lucy Henderson Horton who m. Thomas Gillespie[Gillespie is with John Henderson and Rose Finley of Greene Co. Tn.? Somehow these people are connected but I am not sure how.? Some are listed with Sir John Henderson---these are John Henderson and Rose Finley, James Henderson and Martha Hamilton and Samuel Henderson of Straunton Va. who m. either or Jean Craig who I still believe is right, Jane or Jean Thompson, and Jean Long?? ! or Jean Leeper.? I think some are related to John Henderson who m. Charlotte Miller of Greenville, Greene Co. Tn. which I did find and I think it is Catherine Roberts---someone told me that Roberts and John Henderson went to Northern Ill.? I do know a Wm Ed Kurtz m. a Barnes in Northern Ill and is related to John Henderson who lived in Chuckey Tn., in Cleveland Tn. and in Ducktown Tn. Bradley Co.? There was a brother Joseph Henderson who m. Adelphia Lea/Lee and they had a son Joseph Henderson who m. Eleanor Hutchinson--they lived in Rheatown Town Tn., George Henderson or George John Henderson who m. Isabella Houston of Sam Houston, William Henderson who m. Elizabeth Cowan[Cowans in Pa.] she marr. Jesse Moon after William died, James Henderson who ma. a Dickerson/Dickson?? David Henderson who m? a Carson, Daniel Henderson I have one m. to Sallie McBride and to Hickman[I don't know if this is the same one in this family] Florence Henderson who m. John Spencer, Samuel Henderson who m. Catherine Rogers--they had a son Thomas Rogers Henderson.? ! I have one more but can't think of it now.? I will try and look it up for you.? I do know there was a Carol Shelton who was related to a Dotterer, Bernhard of Berks Co. Pa. or Bucks Co. Pa.? They are with the Troxells, Merkles, Markles, Weisers of Pa.?
