I think I know who James C. Henderson is. I looked for him on my Ancestry and I think he might have been an influential Man in Chicago. Chicago is know for the Beef slaughter yards at that time. Sadly, This is not my James Abner Henderson b.Aug 1841 in NC (somewhere...). One of my big brick walls. He married in Granville County, NC in 1863. I can't connect him anywhere. He lived most of his later life in Durham, NC. Any help appreciated.
