Surnames: Henderson, Bennett Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/yNi.2ACEB/5503 Message Board Post: My Samuel Henderson was born Aug. 14, 1827 in Jasper , Ga.. His wife was Josephine Bennett of SC. They were most likely married bet. 1848 and 1850 as they had a child named Mariah(not sure if this was her first name) about 1850. 1860 Census shows her to be 10 years of age. The closest I have found is a Samuel in the Al. census living with parents from SC but he was born in Ga. He is not married at this time, but if he had a child in 1850 he should have been married at this time. This census was taken on Nov. 30th of 1850. Any info would be appreciated.
