Being new to this list, I first did a survey of the archives looking for the answer to my question, but as I didn't find it, thought I would start by asking the following: I have a Jean Henderson, styled "of Fordell", who married, as his second wife, a James Hamilton, Baron of Dalzell(of the Orbieston line)in 1646. I think that she d. by 1658. Children: Alexander, Frances, Mary(marr. a Wm Stevenson), Ann(marr. a Boswell)and David Hamilton.
