If so, he would have been less than a year old when that war started. I have relation that were born in 1844 Atwill Henderson, 1846 Russell Henderson, their mother was, Mary (Foreman) Henderson. Their father left them in NC to fight in the Mexiczn War of 1846-1848. Atwill, Russell and their mother, Mary did come to Kansas and eventualy settled in Chautauquq County.
