    3. FORWARDED TO OUR HENDERSON LIST Original Message From <rastokes@gci.net> Volume 3, No. 1 (Feb. 1994) of the Maury (TN) Genealogist (later to be merged with "The River Counties.") displays a number of HENDERSON's from a reconstructed census of 1810 of heads of households in Maury Co., TN. Following the names in some cases were years in which records existed in Maury for the individual named. Here are the names listed: Alexander, 1811 tax list, Betsy, 1814, Laston, 1811 tax list, Lawson, 1811, Logan, 1807, 1811, James, 1814, Nathaniel, 1811, Richard, 1810,1811, Robert, 1809,1811,1814, Thomas, 1814, Polly, wife of Thomas, 1814, William, 1810, 1811, William S., 1810, 1811, Wilson, 1809 ( supposedly settled between 1806-10 one mile south of Campbell Station. Wilson's Will brought to court on 21 Sept. 1809). According to Maury Co., TN Will Books, A, B, C-1, D, and E, 1807-1832 by Jill Knight Garrett, the 17 May 1809 Will of Wilson HENDERSON names two sons, Wilson and William and an elder daughter Susannah MAYFIELD who had already received part of estate, and other sons, James, John and Jesse, and a daughter Elizabeth, and a wife, Molley. Molley, son, Wilson, and Joseph BROWN were named executors. I have not reviewed a microfilm of the actual Will, but Garrett indicates the Will was marked by a William HENDERSON?? I suspect both Wilson HENDERSON, the father and the maker of the 1809 Will, and the son, Wilson, one of the executors of the 1809 Will were the same Wilsons listed in the 1800 Census for Chester County, SC. Can anyone help with confirmation, refutation or additional information? rastokes@gci.net
