Henderson, born Jan. 5, 1843 possibly in the town of Roaring River in Barry County, Missouri. She died Oct. 26, 1910 in Madison County, Arkansas. She married to George Washington Vaughan on August 13, 1857 in Barry County, Missouri. Mary was said to have been 1/4th Cherokee Indian, and both of her parents were born in Tennessee, according to the census. her mother was said to have been on the Trail of Tears.
