There are 2 Nathaniels in Newberry/Union Counties. One lived between the Enoree and Tyger Rivers. The other lived farther north in Union County. Both died within a few years of each other. I found both their wills, and they have children with almost the same names. One died in 1794 and was the Nathaniel that fought in the revolution. The other died in 1803 and was a Quaker. It took several years for me to figure out whick one I belonged to. Nathaniel the Quaker is my ancester. His family can be tracked back to Virginia on the south side of the James river across from Jamestown. I can provide more info if this is your family.
Did either of your Nathaniels have grandsons named Isaac and William born about 1800. Either the Quaker or the one who fought in the Revolutionary war. Thank you Deanna Deanna Weymuth learning disabilities resource teacher at Paseo High Academy, KCMSD Kansas City Wizard's Fan www.sound.net/~dew/
