He married a Miriam C. Short, who was born 3/7/1822 in, we think, Missouri or Tennessee. James Died 1/30/1903 in Bollinger County, Missouri and is buried at Mount Carmel Baptist Church in Bollinger County, MO. Miriam died 6/16/1889, and is buried in the same place. One of their children was my Great Grandfather, Juan Fernandez Henderson, born 7/11/1862 in Bollinger County, MO, Married 7/26/1883 to Serida Jane Yount, and Juan died 8/14/1940 in Bollinger County, MO. He is also buried at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. Does anyone have any information on this James Henderson? Never would I have believed there would be so many by this name. Thank you. Carol Mattull
