Most of my family spent 1835 onwards in Whitby. They were the descendants of William Henderson who was born in South Shields in 1810/1811. He was the son of Matthew Henderson and Margaret (nee Williamson) who were married in Great Ayton in 1797. My campaign is this - to get my Hendersons into Scotland.
