Surnames: Henderson Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/yNi.2ACEB/5540 Message Board Post: I came across a letter written in 1946 by a great uncle which states that Margaret "Margey" Louisa Henderson is the sister of James Pinckney Henderson (1st governor of Texas). Margaret (born around 1812) was married to Samuel George Thompson (born 1809) - the line I descend from. I can't find any documentation that supports my great uncle's claim. Does anyone have any information that supports this? How about any information about Margaret Louisa Henderson and her ancestors?
