I haven't gotten into searching this line as intensely as my others, but I will say the naming pattern helped! Also...many children died...and tho it was common to rename another child with the same name (thus confusing some of us that search lol) It also could be some didn't and just continued the naming. The pattern helped me when I went back with my Armstrongs to Scotland.So now I am trying it with my Copelands. I too was very lucky in that my mother passed info down to me so I started with alot to go on. Well I wish you good luck. You can only do the best you can!
