My ggg grandmother was Ann Henderson b 1754 in Cash Hill (N Ireland)and married abt 1775, James Copeland b abt 1750. Ann was the "daughter of Mr Henderson of Cash Hill (Co Fermanagh) and his wife, the eldest daughter of a Thomas Mitchell (who resided in Monaghan at one time)". Family story is that she was the "gg grand daughter of Captain Michael Browning (of the 130-ton Mountjoy, who won fame in July 1689 by using his ship to break the boom on the river Foyle and lift the seige of Londonderry, but in the process had his head shot off)".
