I've been so busy with Wanda over the past few days, I forgot that you're interested in this thing too. Unfortunately, I don't have much else to offer. Dad told me that his father, my grandfather John Lindsay Henderson (whom I was named after) was born in 1887 and died in 1939 of an accidental self-inflicted gunshot wound (he was cleaning his rifle and it went off). Sadly, that's all I know about him. I don't know how he came to settle in Greene County, Pennsylvania or what part of the country he migrated from. Of course Arkansas is a long way from Pennsylvania, but there might be a tie-in somewhere. I'll try and contact my cousin Dottie in Nashville (Radio Dot and Smokey's daughter) and see what I can find out. I understand she dabbles in ancestry a little bit.
