She had 7 girls, one of who is my mother. All of her daughters ended up in foster care following her institutionalization for mental illness and lost all contact with her family. RE: JOHN HENDERSON My gggg grandfather was a John Henderson. He was born about 1769 in Virginia, and he died in 1833 in Allen County, KY in an area where the counties of Allen, Barren and Warren meet. His son(s) crossed over the river from Allen County and lived in the Finney and Rocky Hill communities of Barren County. All of this area of Kentucky was Green County when KY first separated from Virginia. Finney and Rocky Hill are about 20 miles (as the crow flies) from Bowling Green, KY. About every family had a William somewhere or other. I don't have anything about a Richard Lewis Henderson; however, there were many Lewis families in or near the Finney community. Lewis is another line of my ancestry. Would my John Henderson fit into the time frame you are looking for? If so, I am willing to share any information that I may have.
